In high school, my mother was telling me how she had a history teacher. She was saying that in that class she always did good on her assignments and projects. However, the teacher didn't think so. Whenever the teacher would ask a question and my mom would answer it he would always say that it was wrong, but when somebody else answered it, then he would say it was right and would give them full credit. One day, she had turned in an assignment and the teacher had given her an F, when one of her classmates got a better grade for no doing anything. At the end of class, she approached him to his desk and asked why was it that she failed the assignment with an F. His response was that he wanted to fail her, and have her not graduate high school. My mom said she was so shocked that she was speechless at the moment and he asked her "Are you afraid of me?" My mom being angry put her hand on his desk and her being in his face said "I am not afraid of, I'm afraid of my mother and so should you. Now if you do not give me the proper grade i deserve i will take my paper and my classmates paper to the principles office and show him that they are the same but you giving me a lower grade". She said she walked out of the classroom without her teacher having to say anything. In the end, he gave her the passing grade.
This is a really good anecdote Felicia I like how your mom went up to the teacher after class and told him off.But check some little detailed mistakes. For example theirs a sentence were it doesnt make sense like you have to put an are after you.Funny and Amazing anecdote.
ReplyDeleteYour mom seems to be very strong in her words, and she can get what she wants when she use it.
